I love this time of year! I wanted to paint something for Halloween, and this came out of one of my drawings in my sketch book.
The Golden Comb

A Grimm inspired fairy tale in which a young wife has to rescue her husband who has been captured by a river nymph. She receives help from a fairy godmother who gives her a golden comb and tells her to sit by the river side, combing her hair. When she finishes, she sets the comb next the river bank, and when the water's rush forward to wash the comb away, the young woman sees her husband appear above the water. Quickly, she grabs his hand, and frees him from the river.

To Autumn (nudity)

I think an expert from William Blake's poem "To Autumn" goes well with this:
The narrow bud opens her beauties to
The sun, and love runs in her thrilling veins;
Blossoms hang round the brows of Morning, and
Flourish down the bright cheek of modest Eve,
Till clust'ring Summer breaks forth into singing,
And feather'd clouds strew flowers round her head.
This was a fun exercise in sort of stream of consciousness painting. I started the picture by scribbling out the background, and then just let my imagination run wild. Here is the result.
